First, if it's maths- I do a one week basics crash course called skill week. Here I test their basics like normal math operations and even revise their previous year math portions. I want my students to concentrate more on method than on getting the answer. This is harder to do than just say. But I have the capability to do so. I don't come unprepared to the class. So I first prepare myself before teaching in any class. Will not clear their doubts then and there, I make them do it in front of me thereby giving them the confidence that they can do it. I want them to fear me but at the same time be as free to ask doubts with me. I think that if given a chance I can prove that I'm a teacher capable of teaching students and make them comfortable with math
