About Hanna
I'm a student at Boston University majoring in medical anthropology with minors in history and public health. I spent other semesters in Warsaw, Poland, and Seville, Spain. I grew up in NYC with immigrant parents and had to learn how to navigate my own language struggles. I have experience tutoring family and friends, editing essays, code-switching at a whim for anyone who may need it, and I worked in a fourth-grade classroom teaching English in Spain while studying abroad!

My lessons will be structured based on what each person wants. I will focus heavily on colloquial English for those who wish to improve speaking. For those who wish to have a more official understanding of English, I will focus on formal English for jobs. I will also focus on language complexities, and grammar/sentence structure for those who wish to understand cultural uses of certain words. I will also teach ways to remember the spelling and pronunciation of words. Very casual and low-stakes!
