About Nicolas
I am a graduate of the Royal College of music, London. As a professional trombonist, I have experience playing with the London Sinfonietta, Southbank Sinfonia, as well as playing with a variety of bands at Glastonbury, Leeds and Reading festivals. I have been part of the English National Opera's Evolve Scheme, London Sinfonietta Academy and am currently a reserve member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.
As well as performing I have a deep passion for education and encouraging young people to engage with live music . I have helped deliver workshops with the London Sinfonietta and Royal College of Music outreach department, Sparks. I am a tutor for the Tri - Borough Music Hub, delivering whole class, group and individual brass lessons. Also, with the TBMH, I accompany the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea staff choir as a pianist. Finally, I am the regular brass teacher for a London Boys School.

Now is the time to learn that instrument you've always wanted to learn! I am a professional trombonist and pianist and my aim is to make learning a new instrument fun and rewarding.
Are you a GCSE or A-level student sitting your exams next year? Now is the opportunity to get ahead and develop your skills. As a teacher for a London Boys School, I am well versed in the exam board criteria and can help with brushing up on music theory, aural help, composition help and help with performing.
Whatever your age, a complete beginner or an advanced player, it is never too late or too early to start playing an instrument or to develop your existing skills. So why not take this opportunity to brush the dust off that instrument that's been in the loft and let's make some music.
