About Vern
I’m a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) currently advancing my education in a BSN program, and I understand firsthand how challenging nursing school—especially pharmacology—can be. I’ve been in your position, balancing exams, clinicals, and trying to make sense of overwhelming amounts of information. What helped me succeed was learning how to break complex topics down into simple, clear concepts that actually stick—and that’s exactly how I teach.
My experience in patient care allows me to connect medications to real-life situations, so you’re not just memorizing drug names—you’re understanding why they matter. I specialize in helping students focus on what’s most important: drug classes, key side effects, safety considerations, and how to answer NCLEX-style questions with confidence.
