About David
I am a dedicated math teacher with experience working with middle and high school students in Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus. In my teaching experience, I have seen that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they have not been taught in a way that truly makes sense to them.
During my time as a student, I also participated in math olympiads and competitive math contests, which helped me develop strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. This experience allows me to approach math not just as a subject, but as a way of thinking and understanding patterns.
This is why I focus on clear explanations, patience, and helping students understand the “why” behind math. I create a supportive and structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence step by step.
I take pride in adapting to each student’s needs and helping them make real progress, whether they are catching up, improving grades, or aiming for higher performance.

My lessons are designed to help students truly understand math in a clear, engaging, and interactive way. As a math teacher, I know that many students feel lost or bored in class, so I focus on making concepts simple, meaningful, and easier to follow.
I don’t just teach how to solve problems—I focus on why things work. This helps students build real understanding and confidence, instead of memorizing steps that are easily forgotten.
If math classes feel boring or confusing, I will help make them more interactive and engaging so that learning becomes clearer and more enjoyable. I use visual explanations as much as possible, whether through a digital whiteboard or interactive tools like GeoGebra, so students can actually see how math works and connect ideas more easily.
A typical lesson starts by identifying what the student is struggling with, followed by clear, step-by-step explanations. Then we practice together until the student feels confident solving problems independently.
I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and goals—whether they need help catching up, improving grades, or preparing for exams.
My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students studying Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus who want to truly understand math and feel more confident.
