About Sadam
I am a graduate from Simon Fraser University (SFU). I received my Master of Science in Finance with a focus on Investment Management. I also majored in mathematics and computational finance in my undergraduate program.
While at SFU, I had the opportunity to tutor undergraduate students in the BBA program in courses such as Personal Finance, Corporate Finance, and Data & Decision II, as well as CFA exam prep. Out of the many topics I tutor in, I mostly enjoyed portfolio management, equity securities analysis, and corporate finance.
I've always had productive and fun sessions with students during class time and office hours, as we dive deep into problem solving, mock exams, practical example from the financial market, as well as efficient use of the financial calculator especially on topics like TVM and NPV etc.
Some of the most fulfilling moments were seeing my students excel in their exams and use the knowledge to further their careers by securing lucrative internship positions.
My ultimate goal is not only to help students ace their exams, but also to empower them to take control of their financial future and improve their quality of life and those around them. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling around the city, explore new hiking trails as well as playing soccer and beach volleyball.
Like many students, I once faced the daunting challenge of grappling with complex math concepts that felt beyond my reach. I vividly remember the sleepless nights spent wrestling with equations and the sense of defeat when solutions seemed elusive. But with persistence and the right support, I unlocked the secrets of math and turned my struggles into triumphs.
Now, I’m dedicated to guiding you through the same transformative experience. My mission is to make math not only understandable but also enjoyable. I believe that with the right approach, anyone can conquer math and use it as a powerful tool for success.
