About Brian
I’m Brian, a 16 year old SPM student who genuinely enjoys English — enough to want to help others stop dreading it.
I know what it feels like to stare at an essay question with no idea where to start. That’s exactly why I started tutoring — sometimes all it takes is someone explaining things differently.
I won’t pretend I’ve been doing this for years — but I understand exactly what Form 1 to 3 students are going through right now. That makes a difference.

Every student I work with is different — some struggle with essay writing, some freeze up during exams, some just never had someone explain grammar in a way that actually made sense. I’d rather spend the first session figuring out where you’re actually stuck than just opening a textbook and hoping for the best.
Sessions are relaxed and judgment free. You can ask the same question five times and I won’t make you feel bad for it. The goal isn’t just to get through the syllabus — it’s to make sure you actually understand what you’re learning so it sticks during exams when it matters.
I keep parents updated on progress so there are no surprises, and I track each student’s weak points so every session has a clear purpose — so when you sit down with me, there’s always a reason for what we’re doing.
If English has always felt like a subject you either get or you don’t — I’m here to change that.
