About Mel
I am a biostatistician (MSc cum laude, Wits University) with over 4 years of experience in observational research and clinical trials. Having a first degree in molecular and biological sciences gives me an understanding of the 'blind spots' most students from non-statistical backgrounds have when it comes to their research projects or assignments which have a quantitative analysis component. Let me help you deliver quality research or assignments through sound statistical methodologies. I have worked with Psychology, MMed, MPH students etc.

Clients work with me when they want accuracy, clarity and confidence - especially when their marks, degree or publication is on the line. Sessions are structured and goal-driven. For research reports - I advise consulting as early as possible, ideally at the proposal stage (most clients work with me for 5 - 10 sessions for research reports or publications). For short assignments, one or two sessions are sufficient. First consultation to understand goals/assignment is free of charge. PLEASE NOTE: Hourly rate for short assignments and consultations is R350. Enquire privately about rate for research projects and publications.
