About Minuet
I am a recent high school graduate with nearly 200 hours of virtual tutoring experience, meaning I understand how to overcome the pitfalls of online learning. Because I am a student, I am able to relate to my students and explain things in ways that suit their learning styles and abilities.
I am an Information Systems student at the University of Florida with a strong background in math. For the past 2 years, I have taken all math and science classes at the college level. I have also interned at Georgetown University as a web designer. I have a 4.93 GPA and have taken 9 AP, 7 AICE, and 3 PBSC courses. I am able to help students K-12 in a variety of topics.

The majority of my current students are at the elementary and middle school levels looking to get ahead on the core curriculum. I am able to create a curriculum modeled after Florida Standards, but custom fitted to each of my students' needs.
I have also worked with many high school level students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and pre-calc/trig courses. I go over study guides with my students before their tests and help them pinpoint what they need to work on, and then practice problems with them. Often times, students don't know what they don't know, and I'm here to help! I have helped my high school students improve their test scores from C's to A's.
More than anything, I feel it's important for me to build a friendly relationship with my students. Many students are embarrassed to share they don't understand something, so I work to make my students feel comfortable calling out whenever something I say doesn't make sense to them.
I am currently only teaching virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but I am looking forward to teaching in person in the future.

Minuet is, to put it in one word, brilliant. I was really struggling with math and being in high school it was difficult to ask for help and admit i could not do something on my own. Minuet was kind and patient with me and really helped me out. She was the reason i was able to pass Algebra 1. She is the best tutor ever! Highly recommend her.
Minuet helped me so much with Algebra review for the EOC and I feel much more prepared. She was patient with me and explained things thoroughly until I understood. She even went further to provide practice tests and worksheets for me to complete. I definitely feel like I understand Algebra more now thanks to her. She has a fun and scholarly personality which made study sessions fun and relaxing while being informative. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends.
Minuet is an excellent teacher! She really knows how to teach mathematics, she has great experience and methodology. She also has materials for practice. I totally recommend her.
