About Jonida
I am an undergraduate student studying maths and computing at Imperial College London. This is my 4th year as a maths tutor: I have tutored 1-2-1 both privately and for an international education consultancy company, and worked in maths tuition centre for 5-15 year olds for over a year.
I studied maths, further maths and physics at A-level, achieving 3 A*s. I was one of a handful of students to achieve all grade 9's at GCSE level in 2018.

I tailor my lessons to the strengths and weaknesses of the student- I build on strengths and improve weaknesses through carefully selected examples and exam questions. I like to use examples a level above the student to expose them to more difficult work and expand their knowledge. I believe it is important to help a student find their confidence within their work so they can begin to enjoy it and excel in it.
I use an interactive tablet to work through questions and examples on screen, similar to how a whiteboard would function in a classroom. This has been effective in identifying where a student needs extra support in their answers.
