About Natoya
I am a Research Scientist with educational training in mathematics, statistics and economics. I have a PhD in Statistics and skilled in dissemination knowledge and information to non-statisticians. My experience in teaching spans over 10 years (2007-2016) at the undergraduate level.

I strongly believe in active learning and the use of a variety of methods to encourage discussion and interaction in solving the problems the course presents. My teaching philosophy is to foster an environment that is exciting, rigorous and safe, one that empowers both student and teacher in pursuing life-long learning. This, I believe can be accomplished through the following: 1) organized study, 2) connection to the real world, 3) hands-on experience, and 4) student and teacher accountability.
