About Zin
I am a former student of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at the Technological University of Yangon (COE) and a current BEng Computing Engineering student at Edinburgh Napier University.
I myself have built 2 mobile application functional prototypes with Flutter and Dart and several models with React/React Native. Have experience in mobile and Full stack development. Have also tested and hosted a couple of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

What we will be doing?
We will take a look at what Programming Languages could do, how to program on a computer and how we can build complex algorithms and execute Code.
We will start doing basic programming with Java, and touch a bit C/C++ for memory management and compare with Java to show the importance of Object Oriented Languages.
We will also give regular assignments for Java so that students could learn and produce algorithms in the Object Oriented Way.
What will we cover?
OOP, data types, reference types, classes, implementation, abstraction and polymorphism
We will also look at certain algorithms and Object code to understand performance issues and optimisation of code. We will also look at security vulnerability that Java deals with by conparing them with C and C++.
What will you need?
*A windows 10 computer. (PC/ Laptop)
Visual Studio Community Version.
IntelliJ community Version.
All required set ups such as provided IDEs and Editors will be taught during the lecture sessions
