I am a former student of Rajan. Rajan was very welcoming when I came to him in the hopes of building on my piano skills. I wasn’t starting from scratch, and Rajan considered this, effectively assessing what I had already learnt and the level I had previously achieved. Accordingly, he provided me with informative guidance and set realistic weekly goals, allowing me to progress and rapidly enhance my skills. I would recommend Rajan as a teacher as his methodical approach to teaching, combined with his openness to my music preferences provided a supportive learning environment.

Rajan was my piano teacher for a couple of years. I was a complete beginner and my aim was to be able to learn the basics but also play some songs that caught my interest.

He tailored the classes really well to my interests while also teaching me proper techniques and I was really happy with how much I improved week on week.

The classes were well structured and fun, it was very evident that Rajan was confident in teaching and I would highly recommend him.

In the few years I have worked with Rajan, we have become colleagues and close friends. He is an intelligent, hardworking and determined individual who always strives to perform his best despite the challenges that way come in his way. For someone who is dedicated to his studies, it is unsurprising that he wants to pass on his love of learning to others. Alongside a great sense of humour, Rajan is patient and is able to explain concepts clearly and concisely to others. I could not recommend him highly enough.

Rajan is punctual, empathetic, and highly knowledgeable. Not only is he is an excellent musician and academic, but he is also very patient and understanding. I have worked with him on a number of projects and have always found him to be a pleasure to work with and learn from.
