About Jack
Hello!
My name is Jack. I am a recent graduate from Girton Сollege, University of Cambridge, with a Starred First in History. I am passionate about teaching anyone with a will to learn in order to cultivate a enthusiasm for and fundamental understanding of one's subject that a student may carry with them throughout their education.
I have experience tutoring History, English and Maths at a range of levels and degrees of ability. My aim is to equip my students with a strong comprehension of previously complex ideas so that they may progress independently within their subject. However, where advice on exam technique and strategies is required, having recently sat these exams myself I feel I am well-positioned to help students in this aspect of their studies.
As someone who is now well-acquainted with the Oxbridge Admissions process, having both gone through it myself and acted as a student assistant during my time at Cambridge, I would also happily offer advice to potential applicants. While I could obviously provide more specific interview practice and admissions test feedback for History, I am able to provide applicants for any subject useful tips and strategies for interviews and applications more generally.
