About SRIVARSHAN

Since I am learning chess for the last 4 to 5 years and participated in more than 100 tournaments, I want to teach chess and it is a passion for me to teach chess to others. I will guide, explain step by step to all students

About the lesson

I will provide classes for the person who is a beginner's . I will teach through online mode especially in the evening timings with step by step at reasonable cost efficiently. I will take classes for individual or group of 4 to 5 persons also

Perfect! Srivarshan is an enthusiastic and perceptive chess coach - quite flexible with scheduling. While we ultimately did not end up extending our study period due to certain differences, I am sure he will provide valuable input to budding chess players.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I have learned to play basic chess at an early age. But learned to play professionally at the age of 19. The interest to learn chess professionally came after I won my chess competition in my college cultural competitions.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
To be true, at the start, no one motivated me to teach. I started to teach chess to support myself and to pursue my career as a chess player, but later I got motivated by the teachings of IM Sagar Shah (chess-base) such a wonderful teacher in the world.
How does your work help society?
I help students to become good at chess which in turn helps them to concentrate on any particular subject and improves memory and also helps them with decision-making at the critical moments in chess as well as in life. So, I believe whenever we improve our thinking we can improve our society.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model in teaching chess is Sagar Shah (chess base). The reason is simple: I can understand whatever he teaches and he is changing the world of chess by spreading chess in YouTube.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Playing cricket and learning to speak new languages.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
My professional life is into chess. I feel every kid should learn some sports. Sports can really change the way of thinking and keeps everyone in good shape mentally as well as physically. Taking any sport as a profession is no more a difficult one, if you are good at that sport !!!
