About Laurie
I was one of the first students in the country to Study Sports Science at A Level in 1990. I found I really had a passion for training and Anatomy and Physiology, I competed in County Level, Athletics, Cross-Country, Rugby, Basketball and National level Swimming. This led me into a career of teaching and being a personal trainer. As well as teaching, I am also a Personal Training and Dietary consultant. These all help me with my understanding of my subject and aid in my ability to get students results in their exams or coursework and their own understanding of their fitness.
I really enjoy teaching my subjects and hope to help you achieve your goals.

I like to make sure all foundation knowledge is fully understood and work with the student on what they need to get to where they want to be.
I like lessons to be as interactive as possible, and believe that making learning and enjoyable experience is important.
I have a joint degree in Sports Studies, Art & Design, and a degree in Teaching.
I have been teaching for 28 years, having taught in private and public education, at middle schools, secondary schools, colleges and also at HMPS.
I can teach GCSE, Btec level 1 to 4 and A level.
