About Scott
I am a highly experienced sport and performance professional with an MSc in Sports Management and Leadership and I am currently completing a PhD in Elite Performance. Alongside my academic background, I have worked within national governing body sport, including a role as a Performance Coordinator with Badminton England, supporting athlete development and high-performance programmes.
My experience combines both theory and real-world application. I understand how sport science concepts work not just in textbooks, but in elite performance environments. This allows me to bring PE and sport science topics to life in a way that is practical, engaging, and easy to understand.
I have supported athletes, university students, and young performers to improve both their academic understanding and performance outcomes. I pride myself on being approachable, structured, and focused on helping students build confidence as well as achieve top grades.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to the individual student. Whether you are studying GCSE or A-Level PE, I focus on building deep understanding of key topics such as physiology, sport psychology, and socio-cultural influences — not just memorising content.
With a background in elite performance, former professional badminton player and advanced academic study, I help students:
Break down complex theory into simple, clear explanations
Apply knowledge effectively to exam questions
Improve extended writing and 8–12 mark answers
Sessions are interactive and exam-focused. We work through past paper questions, mark schemes, and structured answer techniques to maximise grades. I also provide guidance on how to think critically — a key skill for achieving top marks at A-Level and beyond.
Lessons are calm, supportive, and designed to build both confidence and competence.
