About Ria
Hi, I’m Ria, a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with a background in Psychology (BA & MSc) and I’ve spent the past few years supporting children with their speech and communication.
I’m passionate about supporting children to build their confidence and communication skills, especially in the early years where the right support can make a big difference. Through my work, I’ve seen how important it is to create a positive, supportive environment where children feel comfortable to learn and grow.
I really enjoy helping children build their confidence and find their voice, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel supported too. I aim to create a calm, encouraging space where children can learn at their own pace and feel proud of their progress.

My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I use a play-based approach to support children in developing their speech, language, and communication skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Sessions may include activities to support attention and listening, understanding, vocabulary development, and interaction skills. I adapt each session based on your child’s level and interests to keep them motivated and confident.
I also provide simple, practical strategies for parents to use at home, so you can continue supporting your child’s progress outside of sessions.
