I love teaching, I enjoy being able to communicate with others and help them understand their content. I don't believe in a student being 'dumb', instead I believe that every student has a different way of learning and understanding. I have been tutoring for two years now, I have tutored all sorts of students that vary academically and have fallen significantly behind their studies. I understand how challenging school may be, so I am very patient and go at a pace the student is comfortable with. A typical duration would be 1h with x2 5 minute breaks. I find that this really helps my students engage and enjoy their learning. I will ask what exam board my student is with and then go with the specification in my lessons. I have obtained results from my SATs , 11 GCSES from grades B-A* (+1 additional GCSE), and I am currently coming to an end with my A Levels (predicted A*AA).
I am also very flexible with students that have learning difficulties and have experience in that too! I can cater to specific academic needs. I can also teach from exam boards OCR A, Edexcel & AQA.
