About Alex
The way I was inspired to get into the field of teaching the English language is that when I was in college, we had many international students. I'm naturally a helpful person, and so I was helping them with the English language. Some told me "You are very good at explaining the English language. You would be an excellent teacher. You made me understand some English better than any other teacher I had" I was inspired by that, and I started to learn more about it by studying, researching and teaching. I spent about 5 years doing that and English has become one of the main jobs I do.

I start with knowing what the goals of my students are, then I check their current level, then I tell them exactly what they need to do to reach their goals. I try my best to be efficient and productive.
I tell my students about the best free or low-cost ways to help them reach their goals, and I also tell them about faster ways but cost more money.
For spoken English
We'll choose topics or scenarios where you want your English to be better, like maybe for a job interview, and then you'll tell me what you'd like to say, and I'll help you choose the best vocabulary with perfect grammar and everything to sound more like a native English speaker.
I'll let you practice and give you feedback, and you'll see a noticeable difference after like 5 sessions.
For IELTS and TOEFL
People who need to take IELTS or TOEFL have to have good enough English level in order to be able to prepare for an exam and pass it in a relatively short time.
If your English is good enough, then you can begin preparing for an exam by studying and practicing its specific materials so that you can reach your goal as soon as possible.
For the speaking sections of the exams
You will answer some speaking questions of your test, and I will go through your answers and help you improve them.
For the writing sections of the exams
You will write an essay of your test, and I will go through it with you to help you improve it.
For example, I would fix your grammar mistakes and explain them to you well, and make sure you understand so that you never make the mistakes again.

Alex is actually my English teacher. He's truly the best English teacher I met. Not only he helped me improve my English through his private lessons, but he helped me know exactly what to do outside of the lessons to continue to improve my English and maintain it, so even if I no longer take private lessons with him, I can still improve my English efficiently and maintain it.
