About Charlotte
I graduated Cum Laude from the College of Charleston with my B.S. in Special Education. I taught 4th grade at Trident Academy in Mount Pleasant S.C. I have received training in the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching students with Dyslexia. I also was trained by Marilyn Zecker in multi-sensory math. I know that learning happens when lessons are fun and hands-on!

After teaching 4th grade, I realized that I love one on one individualized instruction. I enjoy learning how students learn and base my lessons on their interests and strengths. I have experience teaching students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, and ASD. I have privately tutored students in grades Pre-k through 6th. I welcome all students up to 8th grade!
