About John
I have been teaching acting for over 8 years now with a foundation course in acting, a BA Hons in Creative Writing and a PGCE in teaching English and Drama. I work as an examiner for LAMDA and teach their exams in Speaking in Public, Verse & Prose, Acting and Musical Theatre.

I create my classes around each student, using the syllabi for the exam to ensure progress. Students are able to pick their own topics, write their own speech and I will help them craft a confident delivery for examination. LAMDA offer grades entry (age 6+) to grade 8 (ages 16-18+).

I have known John for many years and he is very hardworking and committed to his students. He always went the extra mile with our studies and if he doesn't have the answer, he has it by your next session.
John tutored my daughter in preparation for her auditions to drama and dance school. He was very helpful and worked with her for about 2 months, helping her pick a suitable monologue and talking her through the process of auditions. She was very anxious about the process and John noticeably helped keep her calm.
John has worked with my primary school class (year 4), helping them with some kid friendly Shakespeare plays, and they had a blast. We managed to do some acting, reading and even a little writing.
