My Approach:
I believe the best way to learn English is through real, natural conversation - the kind you'd actually have with friends, coworkers, or in everyday situations. No boring textbooks or rigid grammar drills. We talk about topics YOU care about: sports, movies, business, travel, whatever interests you.
My Methodology:
I focus on building your confidence and fluency through relaxed conversation practice. I gently correct mistakes as we talk, help you find the right words when you're stuck, and teach you natural phrases native speakers actually use. You'll learn by doing, not by memorizing rules.
A Typical Lesson:
We start with casual conversation about your day or interests to warm up. Then we dive into a topic you want to practice - maybe job interview prep, discussing current events, or just improving everyday conversation skills. I'll introduce useful vocabulary and expressions naturally as we talk. By the end, you'll feel more confident and have practical language you can use immediately.
What Sets Me Apart:
I'm a native Canadian English speaker who genuinely enjoys helping people feel comfortable speaking. I'm patient, encouraging, and I get that speaking a new language can be intimidating. My goal is to make you forget you're in a "lesson" and just enjoy talking. Plus, I'll teach you real English. The slang, the expressions, the way people actually speak.
