About Emily

I have a degree in French and Spanish and a Master's degree in Translation. I have worked as an English language teacher in universities in South America. Currently employed in Speech and Language Therapy, I am also able to offer accent reduction services.

About the lesson

I’m currently offering: **10 week accent reduction course. 🗣️ Speak with greater fluency and confidence. We will target the sounds that you struggle with most, work on breath work, volume of speech, intonation and learn more about frequent cross-cultural miscommunications. 10 hours of tuition, with tailored homework to fit your schedule. **10 week English language booster course. Improve your English by working on grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Want to focus on grammar? Customise your 10 weeks to suit your needs and goals. 10 hours of tuition, with tailored homework to fit around your schedule. About me: I have several years' worth of experience in teaching English as a second language to adults. Currently employed full-time as a Speech and Language Therapy professional, I am also equipped to assist with accent reduction. I have a Master's degree in Languages and alongside my native English, I also speak French and Spanish. I believe the best way to learn a foreign language is through practice with a native speaker. My classes are personalised to each student's interests, level and goals. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss how we can work together to achieve your professional or personal language goals!

I had the privilege of being Emily’s student, and she’s truly an outstanding English teacher. From day one, she showed a high level of professionalism, dedication, and passion for teaching that really made a difference in how I learned.
Her teaching style was clear and tailored to what I needed, and she always encouraged me to participate in class.
Thanks to her support, I not only improved my English skills but also gained more confidence to communicate in different situations.
She’s a teacher who leaves a mark, and I strongly recommend her to anyone looking to learn or improve their English.
