Señor Gabriele is honestly the best Spanish teacher I've had, and the reason I got a 5 on the AP exam. He is extremely passionate and clearly dedicated to ensuring that all of his students are truly learning, rather than just memorizing. Since he teaches through conversation, we learned so much more than we would have in a traditional Spanish classroom setting. He made class fun, interactive, engaging, and made sure all students felt comfortable making mistakes and growing from them.

I took Spanish in high school and college. I also tried courses and apps over the last several years. I was stuck at an intermediate level. You can get to that level a hundred different ways and folks at that level all have different needs based on how they got there. IMO individualized instruction tailored to your needs is the best way to move forward and Tom excels at that. I like that he is a native English speaker- he always understands me. His experience in Spain and Mexico makes him the ideal tutor to explain what words are used most and in what countries when there are multiple translations for an English word. I highly recommend Tom Gabriele for anyone who wants to improve their ability to communicate in Spanish.

I was one of Tom's students for two years, and wholeheartedly recommend his teaching approach, style, and outcomes -- he pushes his students while providing them with as much help and support as they need, and I can definitively say that I walked out of class everyday knowing spanish better, and feeling confident in my ability to speak and understand it (even a few years later, I am deeply grateful to have had him as a teacher, because I learned so much from him). He makes the class super interactive, and lectures entirely in Spanish, which creates amazing learning opportunities for students.
