About Aubrey
I am very warm and friendly. I love learning and I love helping others learn. I am very patient, and as a past teacher and attorney, I have learned to vary my teaching strategies to meet students where they are and help them excel in personalized ways that are meaningful and effective for them. Being bilingual is a huge advantage and being biliterate is even more valuable. Access to languages opens us up to new experiences and ideas. I would be grateful to assist any student on their journey as they learn and expand their mind.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Studies from UC San Diego. I took lots of Spanish language and literature classes. I did private tutoring in both Spanish and English throughout college. I became a substitute teacher and taught High School English for about 4 months in a long-term sub role. I then attended law school at the University of San Diego. I am now an attorney at non-profit organization and I use Spanish every day in my practice.
