About Sophia
I am a KCL graduate that has a experience in working both in corporate and educational settings in Spain and Portugal. Having lived, worked and studied abroad for over three years I am your guide to whichever level of fluency you desire. Patient, hard working and with a desire to teach and nurture people to embrace new languages and cultures. I have experience in admin which helps my organisational skills to assist you learn in different ways and track your progress. My studies were strenuous but prove that I am quite capable of taking on a challenge so will tackle any student who thinks they "are not good at languages". Having taught and studied at Lisbon University, I am happy to help foreign students who want to learn English (my native language) or English students who wish to learn a foreign language (like me)!

I believe grammar is the foundation of any language. Thus I will offer either one class of grammar a week and then vocabulary and conversation or half hour and half hour- depending on the time available. If your grammar is correct, the vocabulary and conversation works in around this by reading, speaking and participating in my creative ways of learning. Depending on the level but close to at all levels, I do think it is very important to speak in the language being taught at all times- even when it is challenging.
