About Cassidy
My path as a Spanish educator began with a deep interest in how language shapes identity and connection. I earned a B.A. in Hispanic Linguistics, where I studied language structure, usage, and cultural variation across Spanish-speaking regions. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through Spanish with patience, structure, and clarity.
I believe effective teaching comes from understanding how students think and learn. My approach emphasizes clear explanation, consistency, and encouragement. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, ensuring they feel supported while steadily progressing. Creating a respectful and motivating learning environment is central to my work.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring Spanish through literature, media, and cultural studies. This ongoing engagement enriches my lessons and keeps them relevant. Teaching Spanish is deeply rewarding because I see students grow from uncertainty to confidence. Supporting learners as they gain the ability to express themselves in a new language is both meaningful and inspiring.
