About Barrett
I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with 4 years of professional teaching experience, working with high school and college students. Over the 4 years, I have helped students strengthen their academic skills and develop confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding Spanish.
Personalised learning is the foundation of my teaching approach. I believe every student learns differently, so I design lessons based on individual goals, learning pace, and level of understanding. This allows students to learn comfortably and achieve consistent progress.

My teaching methodology for Spanish focuses on creativity, understanding, and practical use of the language. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, simple, and applicable in real life.
I use creative methods such as role plays, conversations, storytelling, visuals, and real-life examples. Grammar is explained in simple terms and practised through speaking and writing. This helps students understand and apply Spanish naturally.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I guide students to analyse sentences, identify mistakes, and improve their understanding. I encourage curiosity, questions, and independent thinking to build confidence.
Accountability is an important part of my approach. I provide regular practice exercises, assignments, and constructive feedback. Students are encouraged to stay consistent and responsible for their learning.
