About Sam
I'm an aspiring physicist hoping to lend a hand to young students in this current crisis who desire lessons in maths and science. I have recently completed my A level study and awaiting my results, but I am predicted 3 A*s in Maths/FM, Physics and Philosophy. I have mentored younger students in the past and am keenly interested in carrying that on.

My approach to teaching is to give the student a conceptual understanding which they might not otherwise get at school, whilst still providing a key emphasis on questions and problems. This should create an ideal environment for learning if the student shows an interest in the topic. If they do not then I will focus on the fundamentals to nurture their learning and provide a leg up to foster their interest.
I believe that in the modern era and particularly now students should be embracing the many different learning opportunities which the internet and online learning ,eg. youtube, MOOCs, offer whilst acknowledging the pitfalls.
