About Ahri
Hello! I’m Ahri, an 18 year old high school student. I’m currently in grade 12 and have been accepted into university for the following fall. My passion has always been towards learning and helping, and I’ve always loved working with kids. Over the years I’ve come to learn a few tricks to keep kids interested and entertained. To me, learning isn’t just about the content you absorb, but about the relationship between the teacher and learner as well. If a student has a teacher they don’t like, they’re less likely to learn, which is why I make sure to have a good relationship with everyone I teach.

I approach each student differently, taking in what helps them best versus what discourages them, and build a method off of that. If a student is a more visual learner, then we will get hands on with videos and practice. If a student is an auditory learner, then I will make sure they can follow along and put my lessons into the simplest terms. I also have experience with teaching special needs kids, so I’ve learned to be able to accommodate to those needs. Every student is different, so their lesson plan should be as well!
