About Benjamin
Benjamin Kintisch has written a musical (lifereviewmusical.com), for which he wrote lyrics for sixteen songs. Learn more @lifereviewmusical on Instagram.
He is currently writing lyrics for a new project called "Birdfeeder: The Musical". He is also working on children's music for a future album.
Ben has been attending the annual Jewish Songwriters Cooperative Retreat for the last 8 years. He has taught songwriting workshops to his fellow songwriters each year he has attended, on topics such as "Write Fast!" "Use Art for Inspiration" "Poetry into Songs" and more.

Each lesson we will listen to one example to start. We will discuss what makes the example a strong song - lyrics, melody, feelings, and more.
We will do some live writing exercises to warm up. I'll provide a writing prompt and we will both do the writing and share out.
Students will be invited to work on their own in between lessons to write songs and share drafts with the teacher for feedback, suggested edits, and encouragement.
