I believe that the best way to learn computer programming is by doing. I use a hands-on approach to teach my students the skills and techniques they need to be successful programmers.
Here are some of the elements of my teaching philosophy:
* Project-based learning: I believe that the best way to learn programming is by working on real-world projects. This allows students to apply the concepts they are learning and to develop their problem-solving skills. I often use the students' own projects as the basis for their learning, but I also provide them with similar examples problems to help them develop different approaches to finding solutions.
* Feedback: I provide regular feedback on my students' work. This feedback helps them to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to improve their programming skills. I also use feedback to help students learn from their mistakes and to develop a growth mindset.
* Personalized instruction: I believe that every student learns differently. I tailor my instruction to meet the specific needs of each student. This includes providing different levels of support, using different teaching methods, and adjusting the pace of learning.
