About Saamya
I am Saamya, a third-year university student at the University of Manchester. I love teaching and wish to become a teacher someday because I feel like helping others learn is my contribution to this world. I am passionate about the subjects I choose to teach and love sociology, english, biology and history all equally. I am a voracious reader and have a shelf full of books to refer to if needed and my recommendations are always good. I believe in education outside of the box and making learning a fun process.

I will use fun creative techniques to ensure students enjoy the content rather than simply memorise it. I used to privately tutor a child when I was in highschool and we often used various games and fun activities to learn english and science. I also worked at a tuition centre for primary school children where I gained significant experience in teaching. Furthermore, i have been a peer tutor at school for several years.
the typical length of a lesson will be 1-2 hours, depending on the subject and homework will be minimal. Instead, i will set interesting readings to do which will help the student learn beyond the course material.
I can tutor a range of students from primary to GCSE/A-Level and even undergraduates(only sociology).
