About Lizzy
I am a sociology and Education studies student at university. I have up to 3 years teaching experience with swimmers up to 16 years of age and previous sociology tutoring experience one to ones with a level students when I was at school.

I believe my teaching methods are based around the student. Teaching ways of learning that are best suited to the student and practising these ways to get the best out of sessions. This may involve watching videos , mind maps , flow charts , revision cards etc. A typical lesson structure would involve recapping what was done in previous sessions , finding out what the student knows about the topic about to be cocovered, spending the majority of time teaching this then an active recall activity to check understanding of the topic covered.
