About Edward
With 6 years of professional violin teaching experience and nearly 150 students successfully mentored, I am passionate about delivering structured and inspiring lessons to learners of all levels. I strongly believe that mastering the basics is essential for long-term musical growth.
Therefore, I emphasize posture alignment, smooth bow control, accurate finger placement, and steady rhythm from the very beginning. As students grow more confident, I introduce expressive elements such as phrasing, dynamics, and performance techniques. My teaching style is supportive and interactive, allowing students to ask questions freely and learn without fear.
I provide clear instructions for home practice and monitor progress closely to ensure continuous development. One of my unique abilities is helping students build both technical precision and stage confidence. I strive to create well-rounded musicians who perform with clarity and emotional connection.

I believe that violin learning should be systematic and inspiring. My classes focus on clear explanation and adapting to each student’s learning style. I carefully teach posture correction, bow control, finger placement, tone clarity, and expressive techniques in a gradual manner.
Alongside performance skills, I teach music theory, harmony basics, ear training, sight reading, rhythm practice, and music history to give students a complete understanding of music. I use real-world examples like recital preparation, orchestra rehearsal discipline, and exam case studies to show how technical practice connects to performance success.
I also guide students in time management and regular practice habits. My goal is to create confident performers with strong technical and theoretical knowledge.
