About Irina
I am a dedicated French tutor with 9 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During my teaching journey, I have taught 150–200 students and helped them strengthen their French language skills. I am passionate about helping students succeed academically.
My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, practice, and motivation. I believe learning a language should be stress-free. I explain lessons step by step and provide enough practice to help students understand clearly.
I create lesson plans according to each student’s academic needs and goals. I help students prepare for exams, complete coursework, and improve speaking and writing skills. I also provide regular revision and feedback.
One of my key achievements is helping students overcome fear and hesitation in French. Many students have shown steady progress and improved academic results. My goal is to create a calm and encouraging learning environment.

My teaching approach to French focuses on helping students understand and use the language naturally in everyday life. I use real-life examples and practical case studies such as daily conversations, travel situations, academic discussions, and workplace communication to make learning meaningful. I keep my lessons flexible and adjust the pace and teaching methods based on each student’s level and goals.
Collaboration is encouraged through interactive conversations, role-plays, and guided speaking practice that help students build confidence. Compassion is central to my teaching style, and I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes.
Along with French language instruction, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, conversational French, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.
