About Leif
I have been teaching singing for eleven years, inspired by my journey as a performer and lifelong learner. I have guided students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop technique, confidence, and expressive ability. Watching learners discover their voice and grow as performers continues to inspire me. My teaching style is patient, adaptive, and creative. I combine technical exercises with interpretive practice, tailoring lessons to each student’s strengths, goals, and interests. I foster an environment where students feel confident, motivated, and inspired to explore music fully. Outside teaching, I perform, compose, and collaborate with other musicians to bring fresh insights into lessons. Singing instruction is more than a career — it is a passion that allows me to share creativity, confidence, and artistic expression with every student.

Singing is a combination of technical mastery and personal expression, and my lessons focus on both. Beginners focus on posture, breath control, and pitch accuracy to develop a solid foundation. Intermediate learners refine phrasing, dynamics, and expressive interpretation across genres. Advanced students work on stage presence, performance techniques, and personal artistry, preparing for recitals or professional opportunities. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and abilities. By the end, students gain technical skill, artistic confidence, and the ability to express themselves authentically through their voice. They develop performance skills, creativity, and a personal connection to music. Lessons are designed to cultivate empowered, versatile, and expressive vocalists who enjoy singing for life.
