I first met Argi in Chile, and even though I now take classes with her online, the connection and quality of teaching feel just as strong as in person. From the very beginning, she created a warm and welcoming environment where I felt comfortable learning and growing. One of the things I really value is that she can teach fluently in both English and Spanish, which makes her lessons accessible to a wide range of students.

I’ve been a virtual ballet student of Argi’s for five years, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

She structures her classes beautifully, and they are always engaging and fun. Each session begins with a thoughtful warm-up, followed by barre (or chair) exercises. We then move on to learning choreography or following a routine that’s adapted to whatever space we have available. We often make use of props such as a fancy hat, tambourine, scarf, or fan :) Classes finish with floor or chair exercises and a “dancing goodbye” that always leaves me smiling.

Argi takes the time to clearly explain each exercise—or the first few movements of a choreography—before we perform them to music, which makes everything feel accessible and achievable. Her music selections are consistently fantastic. While the exercises become familiar over time, she brings so much creativity to her teaching that they always feel fresh and never repetitive.

Over the years, I’ve shared virtual classes with students who speak Spanish and/or English, and Argi seamlessly teaches in both languages at the same time. She is incredibly attentive and genuinely invested in her students’ progress. It’s clear that she puts great care into designing classes that are not only effective, but truly enjoyable.

Studying with Argi has been a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful to be her student. I only wish I was local and could join her in-person studio classes. She is a gem!
