About Metka
I am a PhD student in the field of cellular biology.
I would like to ensure that biology and related subjects are viewed as logical and exciting and understandable because they comprise everything around us.
I think they’re not always presented as such and I would like to change the perception that they are dry subjects - If you find something interesting It will be much easier to learn it, and that’s what i want to help with.
I attended IB, but most of my higher education was done in the UK. I am happy to teach either, and most undergraduate courses in biological sciences.

I will firstly hold a free half hour consultation to determine student’s requirements, their level of knowledge, and to discussed their preferred method of learning.
My lessons will feature a brief big-picture overview of the subject, a detailed mechanistic approach to the topic in question and conclude with a solidification of subject with a little handout or a quiz.
I will also ensure the student knows the applicability of every topic we are discussing and the purpose behind learning it.
