About Cassandra
I am a 5th year undergraduate student at Northeastern University studying Biology & Mathematics and minoring in Marine Science. At Northeastern, I am a CRLA-I certified Peer Tutor, and I am also a Peer Advisor for first-year students. I also have a lot of lab experience, as I completed three 6-month internships at various labs and biotech companies. I graduated valedictorian from the Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science in 2021.

My lessons focus on the student taking initiative, with the tutor helping guide through learning, focusing on the idea of andragogy. I like to start my lessons going briefly over the material, followed by the student discussing which areas they are most confused with. Then, I like to go over some practice questions. First, I take the lead on a few to ensure the student understands, and then I let the student take control. My lessons are targeted for middle school, high school, and college students. My passion is Calculus, and I would love to help if you need it!
