About Brandon
I am a writing student at Pratt Institute, one of the country's top art and design schools, where I focus on screenwriting, creative writing, and poetry. At Pratt, I’ve studied under award-winning, published professors who’ve helped shape my voice and deepen my understanding of storytelling. I also had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Berlin, Germany, where I worked directly with an established author as a researcher, gaining hands-on insight into the writing process at a professional level.
As a tutor, I work best with beginner and intermediate writers who want to strengthen their craft and gain confidence in their voice. I especially enjoy responding to early drafts or work that’s already been written—helping you identify what’s working, what could be clearer, and how to sharpen your ideas through revision and reflection.
Writing can be vulnerable and challenging—but with the right guidance, it becomes one of the most rewarding ways to express yourself and put into words the nuances we often struggle to explain. I’m here to support that process with thoughtful, honest feedback tailored to your goals.

I teach screenwriting, creative writing, and poetry, focusing on the fundamentals—making me a strong fit for beginner to intermediate writers. My lessons are feedback-driven: I work best with students who are currently working on a piece, or who already have material written, offering clear, honest insight into what’s working, what’s unclear, and what could be improved. Therefore, I don’t assign work. Instead, I support each student’s individual process with thoughtful guidance and practical suggestions. However, I can offer additional support/exercises if requested.
