As a tutor, I focus on building confidence and understanding through a friendly, supportive approach. I like to start each session by warming up and reviewing past concepts, then introduce new material clearly and engagingly. Together, we’ll work through examples in guided practice, actively discussing and exploring ideas. I encourage students to articulate their reasoning and even teach the concept back to me, as I find this really strengthens their understanding. Above all, I aim to be flexible with scheduling, approachable, and invested in each student’s success. I teach anyone aged 8 and up, adapting to each learner’s needs.
