My approach to teaching is understanding and locating weaknesses that a student might have and make them strengths. This is very important for students attempting to break into calculus and advanced statistics courses. The process used starts with problem identification, using this a plan is made than tailored to meet the student’s needs, finally once the concept has been learned we can introduce repetition to ensure mastery of the subject is being learned.
