About Nelly
My name is Shanelle. I am 18 in May. I enjoy working with kids, so being able to help them succeed is a big goal of mine. I was in this same place, sitting on a call and having meetings to help me sound words out, and the biggest thing I learned was, nobody is rushing you. Every child learns at their own pace and I'm here to work at the pace the child is comfortable with. I am here to listen and build that confidence with your child, while also building that bond, so that the child is also comfortable with me.

Im a very patient reader, I understand the difficulties that comes with pronunciation and spelling and reading fluently, So with being a patient reader, It allows kids to feel safe and allow them to take their time so they can get through that task. I would start with allowing them to read to me without any feedback so
I can get the understanding of where their at, Then i can work on a lesson plan based on how they react with me, so we can avoid feeling overwhelmed and other things like that. First through Fourth grade reading is where i can help build fluent reading and overall help your child become comfortable, yet fluent.
