About Rishika
I have around 2 years of experience tutoring high school students in math due to my participation in my school's chapter of Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society) since my sophomore year. I also have experience tutoring students online with Schoolhouse.world. I have earned certifications from Schoolhouse for the following topics: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and SAT Math. I earned a math score of 770 on my most recent SAT exam.
I have also taken Honors College Algebra, Honors Precalculus, and AP Calculus AB at school with final grades of A. I am currently taking AP Statistics. I would be more than happy to assist students with these topics as well.

I am technologically savvy and I like to share my screen in order to write explanations or concepts while verbally walking through my thought process.
In a session, I try to assess what students know about a certain topic beforehand. Then, I target any weaknesses they may have with supplemental explanations and example problems.
As a senior in high school, I feel that my age and my experience working with other high schoolers helps me relate to my tutees and allows me to tailor my teaching to meet their needs.
I am looking to tutor middle school or high school students who need assistance with math. I am most comfortable tutoring students in algebra and math SAT prep, although I can also help with geometry or statistics.
