About James
Hi! I'm James, and I'm passionate about various sciences, from math to biology. For some credentials, I founded an ESL non-profit that has tutored over 250 students. Through my non-profit, retention rates were 80%, with 91% of my students stating how my tutoring has benefitted them. I like to think of myself as a more laid-back teacher who likes to converse with students as peers rather than a strict "student-teacher" paradigm.

I take a personalized approach to lessons. It's smoother if students have homework/tests they want to complete/study for. If students don't have a specific course load, I will conduct a prior meeting with the student regarding their goals and what they wish to take away from our lessons. My lessons will be prioritized toward younger students (middle school), but if there are any high schoolers who need tutoring for specific courses in Biology or maths, I am happy to help as well.
