About Darcy
As a high school senior with a 4.5 GPA, I aspire to be a dedicated and helpful tutor for students that are struggling in their academic classes. I spent half a year as a Grade 6 AVID tutor. AVID is a college preparatory course that assists students with their schoolwork and homework. I have assisted students and tutored them by working through examples that they were confused with. Learning from my past tutoring experience, I want to use my skills for other students that are determined to improve and excel in their classes. I am most confident in math, history, and English. However, I can try my absolute best to assist students with other subjects as well.

My goals are to:
• Improve your understanding
• Turn your weaknesses into strengths
• Provide resources and assistance to help you solve the problems you have
• Boost your grade and knowledge
• Increase the excellence of your performance in your academic classes
The content of my lessons and tutoring material will be adjusted and based on the concepts you are confused with.
After identifying the areas needing improvement, I will find examples on the concept and work them out with you in order to help you gain a clearer understanding along with the ability to complete your assignments quickly and correctly.
Because I am currently attending high school, our sessions will start at 6 PM (PST).
I do not require cameras to be on during the sessions (just in case students have social anxiety or are uncomfortable with cameras on). I just need to have students be able to share their screens or message me a picture of their work, so I can help them. If webcam sessions are uncomfortable, we can work through calls and send the work by text or email.
I will try to be as flexible as I can with time and session options in order to allow the student to work in a comfortable manner.
