About Malek
I'm Malek, a third-year Electrical Engineering student with a minor in Artificial Intelligence based in downtown Montreal. I've always been someone who learns by understanding the "why" behind things, not just the "how", and that's exactly how I teach.
Math and physics clicked for me when I stopped trying to memorize formulas and started seeing the logic connecting everything together. That shift changed my entire academic experience, and helping other students have that same moment is what motivates me to tutor.
Outside of school, I'm into fitness, building side projects, and staying curious about how things work — whether it's a circuit, a business, or a new idea. I'm easygoing, patient, and always happy to explain something a second or third time if that's what it takes. My goal is for you to walk away from every session feeling like you learned something new.

I'm a third-year Electrical Engineering student, and I tutor math and physics because I genuinely enjoy breaking down tough concepts into steps that actually make sense. I've spent years working through the exact courses and exams my students are facing, so I know where people get stuck and why.
A typical session starts with you ; what's confusing, what's coming up, what you need help with. From there I work through the concept with you step by step, using real examples and practice problems rather than just re-reading the textbook. I focus on building understanding, not memorization, so you can solve problems you haven't seen before.
I work with students from middle school through university: algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, classical mechanics, electromagnetism, and circuits. Whether you're preparing for an exam, catching up after falling behind, or just want things explained more clearly than your professor does, I can help.
Sessions are available in person (in Montreal) or online via Zoom , whatever works best for you.
