About Aghar
Hi, I’m Aghar, a professional 3D Artist with over 9 years of experience working across game development, VR, real-time visualization, and 3D production.
I started my career in 2014 and have since worked on a wide range of projects involving environment art, 3D modeling, texturing, materials, lighting, shaders, optimization, and Unreal Engine. My professional experience has given me the opportunity to work on both creative and technical aspects of the 3D production process.
As a tutor, I focus on making 3D art understandable, practical, and enjoyable to learn. I believe students learn best by creating things themselves, so my lessons are centered around hands-on exercises and real projects rather than simply following tutorials.
I work with students at different levels, from complete beginners who want to understand the fundamentals to students who already have experience and want to improve their skills or develop a stronger portfolio.
My goal is not just to teach you which buttons to press, but to help you understand the workflow, make better artistic decisions, solve problems independently, and develop skills that you can continue using beyond our lessons.
I’m happy to adapt the learning process to your goals, whether you are interested in game art, environment art, VR, Unreal Engine, architectural visualization, or simply want to learn 3D as a creative skill.

My approach to teaching 3D art is practical, project-based, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. With over 9 years of professional experience in 3D art, game development, VR, real-time visualization, and environment production, I focus on teaching not only how to use the tools, but also how to think like a 3D artist and build work that can be used in real production.
My teaching method
I break complex 3D workflows into clear, manageable steps and explain the reasoning behind each stage. Depending on the student’s goals, we can work on modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, materials, texturing, lighting, environment art, optimization, rendering, and real-time workflows using industry-standard software.
Rather than simply demonstrating a process and asking the student to repeat it, I encourage students to understand why each decision is made. I provide feedback throughout the process and help identify areas that can be improved in both technical execution and artistic quality.
A typical lesson
Each lesson can be structured around a specific skill or an ongoing project:
• Review previous work and discuss any challenges
• Introduce the new concept or technique
• Demonstrate the workflow step by step
• Work together on a practical example
• Let the student apply the technique independently
• Review the result and provide detailed feedback
• Set a practical exercise or project goal for the next lesson
For students with a specific portfolio or career goal, lessons can be organized around building complete projects rather than isolated exercises.
What sets me apart
My experience comes from working on real 3D production rather than teaching software alone. I have worked across environment art, props, vehicles, materials, shaders, lighting, VR, real-time visualization, and Unreal Engine workflows. This allows me to explain how individual skills fit together into a complete production pipeline.
I also adapt the lessons to the student's current skill level instead of following a fixed curriculum. A complete beginner can start with the fundamentals, while an experienced student can focus on improving their portfolio, production workflow, visual quality, or technical skills.
